In 2021 I bought some new (old) barrels to put this wonderful chardonnay fruit in. I just love this fruit so much and really believe that as we work more with this Magpie Springs vineyard we are seeing the endless potential this site has. The chardonnay vineyard is di cult to manage with huge vigourous vines that have amazing energy and capacity for growth.

The bunches and berries are small but the quality of acidity and full avour are just wonderful. The wine is direct pressed into barrel where it is fermented and left on full lees. We are really enjoiung this wine now but it has a capacity to age for many years. Really happy with this wine.
