Made from chardonnay fruit sourced at the Mount Compass Vineyard, the vines grow on a north facing vineyard with very sandy soils over sandstone bedrock.

We picked the fruit when the ripeness and the acidity worked for an early release wine and direct pressed the whole bunches into a stainless steel tank for fermentation

The wine is light, fresh, crisp and clean. It’s particularly refreshing with flavours of melon, honey dew and lemon rind.
